A great headshot does more than show your face. It shows your confidence, your warmth and the level of professionalism people can expect when they work with you. At Imageana Photography Studio in Bradenton we create women's headshots that feel modern, polished and true to who you are, whether you are a CEO, a realtor, a physician, a coach or a creative.

And because we know that preparing for a photo session can feel like a lot, we created special options just for our female clients.

Special Options for Our Female Clients

Professional Makeup and Hair

You can book professional makeup and hair for your session, so you arrive and simply relax. Camera-ready makeup is different from everyday makeup: it evens out the skin, defines your features and lasts under studio lights.

Outfit Selection From Your Own Wardrobe

You do not need to buy anything new. We help you choose the best outfits from your own wardrobe, the colors, necklines and layers that flatter you and fit your brand.

Prefer a Minimal Look? That Works Too

Not everyone wants a full glam session, and that is perfectly fine. You can come with light, natural makeup or none at all. In editing, I digitally add the finishing touches: smoother skin, refined makeup, tamed flyaways and polished hair. Even without professional makeup and hair, you will look as if you had them.

Whichever option you choose, my goal is always the same: outstanding results you will be proud to share.

Popular Headshot Styles for Women

Classic Corporate Headshot

A blazer, a clean background and soft, flattering light. Ideal for attorneys, financial professionals, healthcare providers and corporate teams.

Executive and CEO Portrait

For founders and leaders we use richer light, deeper backgrounds and confident poses that communicate authority with elegance. Perfect for your website, press features and speaking engagements.

Warm and Approachable Headshot

A genuine smile and a brighter feel. This is the favorite look for realtors, coaches, therapists and anyone whose clients need to feel comfortable reaching out.

LinkedIn Headshot

A tighter crop, direct eye contact and a simple background, so your face reads clearly even as a small profile photo.

Personal Branding Portrait

Color, texture, your workspace or your products. Branding images tell your story and give you content for your website and social media. See our branding photography page for examples.

Beauty and Editorial Headshot

Soft glamour, sculpted light and refined retouching for a magazine-style portrait. Wonderful for authors, artists, speakers and women who simply want to see themselves beautifully.

What to Wear for Women's Headshots

  • Solid colors photograph best. Jewel tones, navy, black, white, soft neutrals and blush tones work on most skin tones.
  • Choose necklines that frame your face: V-necks, scoop necks and structured collars are all flattering.
  • A blazer or tailored jacket adds instant polish and gives you a second look by simply removing it.
  • Avoid busy prints, logos and very thin stripes.
  • Keep jewelry simple: small earrings or one statement piece.
  • Bring three options and let us help you choose. This is exactly what our wardrobe guidance is for.

Makeup and Hair Tips if You Do Your Own

  • Choose matte or satin foundation instead of a dewy finish to avoid shine.
  • Define your brows and lashes a little more than usual. The camera softens details.
  • Pick a lip color you love and feel confident in.
  • Style your hair the way you usually wear it, so your headshot looks like you.
  • Bring a brush, powder and your lipstick for touch-ups.

And remember, anything you miss I can refine in editing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need professional makeup and hair?

No. It is a wonderful option if you want to be pampered, but you can also come with a minimal look. I digitally enhance makeup and hair in editing, so you will still get a polished, professional result.

Will I still look like myself?

Yes. Retouching is refined and natural. We enhance, we do not change who you are.

I feel awkward in front of the camera. Can you help?

Absolutely. Most women feel this way at first. I guide you through every pose, and most clients relax within minutes.

Can you help me choose what to wear?

Yes. Outfit selection from your own wardrobe is part of our special options for female clients.
